Meditation Classes

Buddha identified two qualities that develop through proper meditation, Samatha (calming and clearing the mind) and Vipassana (insight into the true nature of reality).

The challenge is the correct techniques used to practice these qualities to achieve enlightenment (Nirvana) or at the very least enjoy productive meditation. If you’ve wanted to meditate but didn’t know where to start, started and failed or quit or currently meditate and are looking to “up your game” then this class is designed for you.

Held 4 consecutive Sundays (for 1 hour each) in our Himalayan Salt Room you will learn the history and benefits of meditation, proper posture, how the mind works, focus/concentration/awareness, how to deal with distractions and much more. At completion of the course you will have all the tools needed to continue successful meditation without the need for Apps or any other outside influence.

This class is limited to 6 individuals (children with accompanying parent are very much welcomed) and is led by our in-house Meditation Instructor Fred. Dozens of individuals ranging in age from 8 to 65 have successfully completed this course which is only offered 4 times per year so spaces will fill fast. Don’t miss out…NAMASTE.
